This game is a joy to play. I came here off of Expedition: Viking and its a clear upgrade in all ways. Still has that same vibe, that wrapped in the moment of history feel, the controls are refined, graphics are better, time limit removed and the characters are wonderful. I have played it several times as there are multiple endings depending on your choices.

if you like historical settings and turn based games and great characters, give this a shot.

The game has improved in many ways, especially the graphics, they tried to make the companions more realistic, they removed the stupid timer, but some moments became worse, for some reason they removed the map in the locations and because of the low-lying camera it is not very convenient to navigate them, you can also loot corpses a random person from the pack, and everyone else just stands and waits for him, but if a corpse is on the roof, for example, then you have to wait until the whole party climbs back up the stairs.

Good game. Love the concept. Hope their next game is even better. As the expeditions games have gotten better with every release.

What about the Spanish reconquista of Granada? We never seen a game based on that yet. Maybe the Mongol Invasion of Japan? Or The Mongol Invaison of Java? What about Alexander the Greats conquest of Asia minor? OR WHAT ABOUT THE UNIFICATION OF THE RUS STATES??

Lmao I am just throwing out random things I can think of that never have been covered in these kind of games or ever at all. (minus alexander in the total war rome mod)
